About Jewels
Jewels is a Mentoring Ministry for young ladies ages 9-17, (Meeting days and times TBD)
Jewels is a ministry that develops life skills of girls and young ladies while establishing relationships that build healthy confidence and self-esteem through spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, financial, and service oriented opportunities.
Mission Statement
The Jewels Mentoring Ministry is committed to empowering young girls and teens through the word of God (Bible) and positive relationships while promoting healthy self-esteem and confidence.
Vision Statement
Mentors in the Jewels Mentoring Ministry lead through precept and example and are committed to assisting the mentee’s advancement into Christian womanhood with a positive outlook on life.
As mentors, we understand that mentoring involves:
– Sharing and creating meaning in life through a relationship with Jesus.
– Helping young women recognize that they do not live in isolation.
– Promoting a two-way relationship.
– Encouraging young women to be willing to change and grow.
