To Become A Christian
If you are not a Christian and want to become one, simply pray this prayer:
Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I come to you admitting that I am a sinner. Now, I choose to turn away from sin, and I ask You to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, died on the cross to take away my sins. I also believe that He rose again from the dead so that I might be forgiven of my sins and made righteous through faith in Him. I call on Jesus Christ to come into my life and be my Savior and Lord. Jesus, I choose to follow You and ask that You fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit. I declare that right now I am a child of God. I am free of the penalty of sin and made righteous in the sight of God. I am saved in Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer, according to Romans 10:9 you are now saved; Once an individual is saved, he/she needs to become connected to and involved in the life of a local congregation (church) where he/she can learn and grow. The St. Luke Church would love to become that place for you. To have a New Discipleship Counselor or a Minister contact you to help you begin the next steps please fill out the following information.
